Policies and Fee Information
Ticket Refund & Exchange Policies
Tickets may be exchanged for another UMS performance within the same season, or the value can be held as a credit on your UMS account for the remainder of the season.
Tickets must be exchanged for UMS credit at least one hour prior to the performance; after that time, they will be returned as a donation to UMS. All UMS credit balances will expire at the end of the 2022/23 season and may not be applied to future seasons.
As an added benefit, subscribers may request a ticket refund up to 24 hours before a performance.
UMS also sells tickets for University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance productions and the Ann Arbor Summer Festival.
Individual Ticket Fees
For single tickets, fees of $3.00-$6.00 per ticket apply to all internet and phone orders:
- $3 for tickets $29 & less
- $5 for tickets $30-$59
- $6 for tickets $60+
There are no fees for single tickets purchased at the League Ticket Office or at the venue immediately before the performance. Fees are never refundable, and may also be charged for ticket exchanges.
Season Ticket Package Fees
There is a $10 fee for all season ticket package orders. Season ticketholders enjoy access to the best seats and the best prices for all performances. Benefits also include free parking and installment billing. Learn more about UMS season ticket packages
