Ticket Office Holidays
The ticket office is closed for the following holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (closed Thursday–Sunday), and December 24th through the first business day after January 1st.
Night of Show Ticket Office Hours
The Ticket Office opens at the performance venue 90 minutes prior to each performance and remains open until 30 minutes after the performance begins.
Tickets may be purchased online 24 hours a day until 3 hours prior to the performance.

UMS also sells tickets for University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance productions, and for the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. Our ticket office is not affiliated with the Michigan Union Ticket Office.
All Ticket Sales Are Final
Due to the nature of the performing arts, programs and artists are subject to change. If an artist cancels an appearance, UMS will make every effort to substitute with a comparable artist. Refunds will only be offered if a substitute cannot be found, or in the event of a date change. Fees are not refundable. UMS will not cancel performances or refund tickets because of inclement weather.
There is a $10 fee for all subscription orders.
For single tickets, fees of $3.00-$6.00 per ticket apply to all internet and phone orders. There are no fees for single tickets purchased at the League Ticket Office or at the venue immediately before the performance. Fees are never refundable.
For ticket changes or exchanges, price differences and fees may apply. Please refer to the exchange fee section below for more information.
Lost or Misplaced Tickets
Call the Ticket Office at 734-764-2538 to have duplicate tickets sent via email or held at Will Call. Duplicate tickets cannot be mailed.
Late seating is not guaranteed and varies per performance. Please leave ample time for parking and arrival (please note: Most U-M parking structures are cash-only). UMS works with the artists to determine a late seating policy that will be the least disruptive to the artists and other ticket buyers.
Children and Families
Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted to regular, full-length UMS performances.
All children must be able to sit quietly in their own seats throughout the performance. Children unable to do so, along with the adult(s) accompanying them, may be asked by an usher to leave the auditorium.
Please use discretion in choosing to bring a child to a UMS performance. Remember, everyone must have a ticket regardless of age. Age recommendations for performances are posted on the artist performance pages.
UMS offers specially priced Kids Tickets for children in grades 3 –12.
Will Call/Ticket Pick-Up
Any ticket orders not mailed, emailed, or picked up at the Michigan League Ticket Office prior to the performance will be held at Will Call, which opens in the performance venue 90 minutes prior to curtain.

Change of Plans?
Tickets are not refundable, but UMS offers multiple options to make it easy for you to make the most of the ticket value if you can no longer attend a performance. Price differences and exchange fees may apply. Three options are outlined below.
Once you have selected your preferred option, please return your tickets to the box office so they may be voided. Voided tickets must be received prior to the deadlines listed in the sections below. You may fax a photocopy of your torn tickets to 734-647-1171, bring them in person to the League Ticket Office, or email a photo or scan of the torn tickets to email@example.com.
Option 1: Ticket Donations
UMS tickets may be converted into an in-kind contribution to UMS. You will receive a receipt via mail for tax purposes; please consult your tax advisor. Ticket donations count towards UMS giving levels. To do so, please return the voided tickets to UMS on or before the performance date, up until the published performance start time. Unused tickets that are returned after the performance begins are not eligible for donation purposes.
Option 2: Ticket Exchanges
UMS tickets may be exchanged into another performance in the same season. Original tickets must be voided and returned to the Ticket Office at least one hour prior to the performance. Exchanging into a lower price ticket results in the balance being held on your UMS account until the last performance of the current season.
Option 3: UMS Credit
Unable to attend your performance, but unsure what to exchange into? UMS can hold the remaining value of your voided tickets — after applicable fees — as a credit on your UMS account. Your credit may be applied toward the purchase of any other UMS tickets until the last performance of the current season. Credit cannot be applied to future seasons.
As with exchanges, tickets voided for credit must be returned to the ticket office no later than one hour prior to the performance. Credit can be redeemed over the phone or in person at the League ticket office, but cannot be redeemed online.
All UMS credit will expire at the end of the current season. If you would like to convert your credit to an in-kind donation before it expires, please call the ticket office to inform us of your intent.
With more than 48 hours prior to the performance being exchanged, non-subscribers will be charged a $6 per ticket exchange fee. There is no fee for subscribers with more than 48 hours’ notice.
Within 48 hours of the performance being exchanged, all orders will be charged a $10 per ticket exchange fee (applies to both subscribers and single ticket buyers).
Exchanged tickets must be received at least one hour before the published performance start time. Tickets received less than one hour before the performance will be returned as a ticket donation to UMS.
