Dance Party! Twelve extraordinary dancers will show how much fun it can be to celebrate the history and tradition of Lindy Hop, an American dance form, in this special one-hour family performance.
Acclaimed choreographer Caleb Teicher and their brain trust of collaborators will bring all the exuberance, high-flying moves, and playfulness associated with this social dance form. Accompanied by live music from Eyal Vilner’s Big Band, Teicher will introduce jazz music, choreographic magic, and stunning improvisations to create a swing dance party that will have your children dancing in their seats.
After the show, the audience will be invited on stage for a post-show swing dance jam!
This family performance is recommended for ages 5+.
