Former STOMP member and 2015 MacArthur “Genius” Grant awardee Michelle Dorrance honors tap dance’s uniquely beautiful history by pushing the form rhythmically, aesthetically, and conceptually.
The innovative choreographer creates an imaginative world of sound, movement, and the forces that join them. Her UMS debut will feature an explosive show that blasts open our notions of tap with every stomp, stamp, and shuffle.
