Facilitated by artists from across the Midwest, these 60-minute workshops are ideal for movers seeking to deepen their awareness of movement and music through fun and engaging experiences. Recommended for participants ages 12 and up; little to no dance experience is required. Come solo or with a partner!

Internationally known for his grace, fluidity, and precision on the dance floor, Mr. Smooth is on the move sharing a popular partner dance. Commonly seen at dance functions and clubs throughout the Great Lakes states of the Midwest, join Mr. Smooth in an International Club-Style Ballroom workshop. Participants will experience an eclectic fusion of dance elements borrowed from popular dances like Cha, Cha, Argentine Tango, Salsa, Graystone, Bop, and other popular hustle/line dances native to the Detroit metro area. ​
