This 90-minute workshop is designed for those who wish to learn more about the two incredible jazz pioneers who were born 100 years ago, ahead of Terence Blanchard and Ravi Coltrane’s performance in celebration of Miles Davis and John Coltrane’s century of music.

U-M Assistant Professor of Jazz and trumpet player Kris Johnson will provide a deep dive into the legacy of John Coltrane and Miles Davis with live music examples.
