Secret Show: Caleb Teicher & Company

Bring your spirit of adventure and join us for a “Secret Show” at Ypsilanti’s Freighthouse, including unexpected performances and a cash bar. Free round-trip bus transportation will be available from Ann Arbor to the Ypsilanti Freighthouse (see below for departure schedule). Please register in advance for free admission (please note, entry is not guaranteed if event reaches capacity).

Caleb Teicher & Company (CT&Co), founded in 2015, seeks to expand the capacity of America’s rich music and dance traditions through innovative choreography, performance, and contextualization. Utilizing Tap Dance, Vernacular Jazz, Lindy Hop, and a mix of other dance styles born and bred in America, the Company’s work represents a unique style of theatricality, humor, emotional expression, and aesthetic exploration.

Joining Caleb for an improvisational set will be Chris Celiz — 2015 American 2v2 Champion and ranked as one of the top beatboxers in North America. Check out their 2018 performance together at the Kennedy Center…

Free round-trip bus transportation will be available from Ann Arbor to the Ypsilanti Freighthouse, departing from the following times/locations on U-M campus:

  • 6:05 bus will depart from Hill Auditorium
  • 6:20 bus will depart from Pierpont Commons

Availability is first come, first served. Following the performance, the bus will return to both campus locations.
