Oskar Eustis, the artistic director of the Public Theater in New York, has developed a reputation for adventurous and timely theater productions that have elevated theatergoers’ understanding of complicated issues. He commissioned and directed the world premiere of Tony Kushner’s Angels in America and Paula Vogel’s The Long Christmas Ride Home, as well as Kushner’s Homebody/Kabul. Eustis launches No Safety Net 2.0 with a special Penny Stamps lecture at the Michigan Theater.
