Join us for an evening of Contra Dance, a traditional folk style with English and Scottish roots, featuring live music, gender neutral calling, and line dances for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Each dance will be taught, rehearsed, and then danced to live music.Hosted in partnership with AACTMAD (Ann Arbor Community for Traditional Music and Dance).
Schedule
Doors open at 5:30 pm
Beginner’s instructional at 6 pm
Contra Dancing from 6:30 – 9 pm
No experience or partner necessary
