These Michigan-based musicians are bringing sounds from the underground to the Freighthouse through an immersive concert brought to you by iconic members of the Michigan noise and punk scene. We invite you to wander the hall and let the music, accompanied by live projections, take you on a journey into the past, present, and future.
After the performance, audiences are invited to head over to Ziggy’s, where Wolf Eyes will continue the celebration (separate tickets are required for the Ziggy’s event, advance tickets at eventbrite.com, tickets not available at the door).

Cary Loren, founding member of seminal ’70s anti-rock outfit Destroy All Monsters, shows his psychedelic roots in this eclectic psych-rock group that explores the folkier side of noise music.
Led by Gretchen Gonzales Davidson, Detroit’s Infinite River is born out of cosmic vibes, indie-space-pop foundations, and a rock and roll legacy, creating a rich, layered guitar-led landscape all its own.
An epidemiologist who spent time in Kenya studying the transmission of malaria, Dr. Pete Larson is an Ann Arbor native creating traditional psychedelic music from Michigan for future generations to enjoy. Bringing an incredible mix of electronica, drone, live improv, and psychedelic folk, Larson curates a vibe that sits outside of any one classification.
Known to late-night Detroit audiences as Liz Copeland — is an award-winning multimedia journalist specializing in audio. She started in Detroit as a nightly live radio producer and host on NPR affiliate WDET in 1995. On a continual quest to get closer to the meaning behind the music, Liz has been credited as a music writer and editor, television host, event and exhibition curator, DJ, and event presenter and host.
