Join musical theatre performer and UMS teaching artist Thani Brant as they perform songs from the contemporary musical canon and take us through some vocal exercises to prepare us for singing. About the Artist
Thani Brant is a senior undergrad at the University of Michigan pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Musical Theatre Composition. They grew up in Fresno, CA where they fell in love with performing and the creative process. Throughout their time in Michigan, Thani has had the immense joy of working at Pioneer High School as a choreographer and director, and they hope to continue teaching throughout their career. Most recently, Thani performed in MUSKET’s Newsies in Concert, and Sonnets, Soliloquies, and Soul, a new work written and directed by Michael McElroy.
