Summer Sings

The UMS Choral Union is pleased to announce the 15th season of its acclaimed SUMMER SINGS. All singers are invited to these popular choral reading sessions. On three Monday nights, just come as you are to these no-audition, no-performance evenings of memorable music-making. Over the past fourteen seasons, as many as 200 singers from southeast Michigan, northern Ohio, and Canada have joined each session in singing through great choral repertoire with some of the nation's most respected choral conductors and outstanding soloists. Admission to each session costs only $5.00 - less than a ticket to the movies! - and we'll provide the musical scores and refreshments.
Registration begins at 6:30 pm "Summer Sings" begins at 7:00 pm.. The $5.00 admission fee covers music rental and refreshments.

Summer Sings Parking Information
On July 14, entrance to Hill Auditorium for those registering for the Summer Sing will be through the West (Thayer Street) lobby entrance only, due to the “Townie Party” taking place on North University. East and South entrances to Hill will be locked.Because of the closure of North University for the Townie Party, access to the Thayer Street Structure on July 14 should be via Washington Street.
